Christening Gown or Child’s Dress-This beautiful garment combines the signature touches of heirloom sewing with the speed and ease of heirloom serging using a three-thread rolled hem.  Lace-edged bands of embroidered insertion run the length of the bodice, culminating in a strip of ribbon-laced bridging at the waistline.  The skirt is embellished with a traditional fancy band of lace and embroidered insertions, and the hem features a lace-edged fabric ruffle.  The puffed sleeves and neck edge are finished with ruffled lace.  Project time 8-10 hrs.
