Savannah Pointe Purse
A Kim Boyles Original Design
Wow! Prairie Points are making
a big come back. I have developed a purse that is not only easy
to make but gives you the opportunity to express your personality in
the fabrics you choose. This is the perfect project for a
layer cake or charm packs. I love a pocket for everything so
when I designed this purse, I added lots of pockets to the lining.
A place for your cell phone, credit cards, a zippered pocket for
security, plus 3 open pockets to stash receipts, etc. In this
6 hour workshop, I will show you step by step how to create the
outside panel. You will make the lining with all its pockets
and go home knowing how to finish the purse in a jiffy. This
is a 6 hour workshop. Supply list available upon request.

Piping Hot Binding
Susan Cleveland has developed
the perfect tool and technique for beautiful piped bindings on your
quilt. Not only do they add spark to your quilt, once you use
this technique you will never go back to whatever you do now.
Students will do a hands on practice piece where they will prepare
the quilt block, make the piping and apply them for perfect results.
Mitering corners has never been easier. Step by step demos will be
demonstrated allowing everyone to follow along. Samples of the
variations that Susan talks about in her book will be demonstrated
and samples shown. This is a 6 hour workshop. Supply
list available upon request.

Serger Overlay Gown
Soft cotton batiste or other
fabric and basic serger techniques are the ingredients for this
sweet confection of a nightgown. A yoke overlay starts with a
center panel. Add lace insertion, ribbon or embroidered
insertions to create fabric styled to your desires. Rolled hem
serger pin tucks are worked in rayon thread to border the center
panel; the neck, sleeveless armholes, and yoke overlay are edged in
lace. The softly gathered waltz-length skirt is tucked across
the bottom and finished with lace edging if desired. This gown
can be a great heirloom project and you would never believe how easy
it is to complete on your serger. Sizes available
S-3XL. This is a 6 hour workshop. Supply list available upon
request. |

Students will learn how to create perfect piping with the Piping Hot
Binding tool then how to use the piping to add pizzazz to this
quilt. The look of the quilt varies greatly depending on your
selection of fabrics. Choose the color and styles that match
your decor or mood. I promise you will want more than one when
you learn how great this technique works. This is a 6 hour
